Description

Carbery Plastics 6000 Litre or 8000 Litre  horizonal Liquid Fertiliser Transport Tank are designed specifically for the transport of Liquid Fertiliser to refill sprayers while in the field.  Manufactured from Medium Density Polyethylene Carbery’s Transport tanks are ideal for refilling of Liquid Fertiliser sprayers while at work.

During the daily use of the tanks (modular and welded), it is worth following and carrying out the following:

  1. Attaching the container to the transport device:
  • the bearing surface of the container and the frame must be in full contact with the surface of the transport device (contact the manufacturer when making a retrofit transport frame for a container purchased without a frame)
  • unique tank with a flat bottom, can only be placed on a flat platform

MOVEMENT, LIFTING AND LOWERING OF THE CONTAINER FROM THE TRANSPORT VEHICLE MAY ONLY OCCUR IN AN EMPTY CONDITION!

  1. Daily check:
  • Leaks and cracks can be detected on the tank body
  • Condition of ball valves
  • The tension of the steel wire ropes
  • Inspection of the fittings used for fixing (screw tensioner, steel wire, clamps) (rusting, fiber breakage, welding of fasteners)
  • Checking the reception of the tank and the frame
  • Operation of the pressure equaliser
  • Check that the filling holes are closed
  • The condition of the rubber sheets between the plastic and metal surfaces
  1. Periodic checks:
  • Washing the inside of the tank, cleaning the outside
  • Dismantling the drain PVC ball valve and cleaning it of dirt
  • Checking the tank body for deformation and cracks. If you experience any of these errors, please contact the manufacturer.
  • Welding and possible deformation of bushings and pins, tabs on the fixing lugs
  • Inspection of the fittings used for fixing (screw tensioner, steel wire, clamps) (e.g. rusting)
  1. Storage:
  • Tank must be empty when stored
  • It must be stored Indoors or covered area
  • Store where protected from mechanical effects and dirt, inside the tank
